My mind goes strange places sometimes.. But here goes. I'm going shopping for new sneakers for my 10 year son today. He outgrew his boy's size 5's.. I thought darn, what am I gonna do with these.. They are too big for me. And I thought , darn next year I won't be able to wear his clothes anymore.. Cause they will be to big. ( I'm kinda a Tom boy ). 10 years old.... And his shoes and clothes are to big for me and he started to wear deodorant. At age 9. I won't even get into girls' rate of puberty these days.
So I got to thinking... Why are we getting bigger? If evolution is correct shouldn't we be getting smaller. We have less space then ever on Earth and we need less brawn then ever before... Yet teenage boys are now wearing size 14, 15 shoes. Mammoths were huge, dinosaurs were huge... Because the room they had to grow( oxygen levels or something too). But 300 years ago when when men could have used that extra strength n muscle for labor they were 5'4. And teenage girls can have babies as young as 11 ( yuk, I know). And the earth is way overpopulated as is. So why are we evolving backwards?
