Thinking about getting a MXT,, ???

I went and looked at a MXT today,,, i have a cheap detector and want to upgrade,,, I looked at all the top end models,,, but the guy recomended the MXT cause it is a good detector and it is easy to operate,,, can some one tell me about the detector in the feild,,,
