Hello,

Instead of going with the larger, expensive headphones, I went with lighter 'Walkman' headphones because
I think they feel better in the summertime. These are much cheaper than the large headphones. You go to
Radioshack and ask the counter person for a 1/8" to 1/4" stereo headphone connector adapter (maybe $6 or $7
and make sure it is stereo and not mono).

The Garrett Propointer is worth every penny but if you can't afford one then try a $16.99 Cen-Tech pin-pointer from
Harbor Freight (I bought one for my Father for Christmas since he was always borrowing my Propointer for so long
every time we went metal detecting together). Both of these should cut your costs down

the walkman headphones are all right if your field hunting or park hunting but dont go in the woods every tree branch in the world will try to rip them off you and you will become very agrivated!
