third piece of the puzzle

My son and I went and rearranged some dirt today.He had previously found two ends of a full channeled gouge.We were on the look-out for the middle section.He didn't waste any time finding it and his day was made ten minutes after he got there.We found a couple of stone tools,some tips and a lot of pottery.It was a pretty good day in Maine.

Nice hunt for sure.
What's the other large "thickish" piece? Looks like a celt with the bit facing away from the camera.
That gouge reminds me alot of a shell wood working tool made down here.
This one is broken but this is the bit end.
I have no idea why the photo came out sideways.
