This is amazing!! I didn't know you even exsisted.

Truly unbelievable, and I love it!! Can someone please Dowse my picture? We bought our very first claim at the end if the season (late fall). We only had time to dig a few buckets before winter set in. We didn't buy it off a miner, but chose the site ourselves (near claims) but unexplored in our area. I know absolutely nothing about mining or dowsing but I believe in both. I don't have a clue where to start?
Thank you for your time!!

Is there a stream running along that road? I am finding a bunch of placer gold...Art

I am finding Placer gold in the creek, on the banks and even some on the road. Your next project should be to take photos of the creek at low water flow....Then go back during the spring runoff and take photo’s when the water is very high...Try to take the photos from the same spots so you can compare them...Look for low pressure areas as that is where the gold will be....snipping can be fun and you can get the equipment pretty cheap......Art

You hit the nail on the head again Art!!
You see we bought our claim just before winter (self inflicted torture...lol) and we only got the chance to dig 3 or 4 buckets. The only pictures we have of the creek are at low water like you said. And we already planned to go back at high water.
Now get this.
I told my partner that there was this other place I had a feeling that there was gold, and I think that we are driving past it everytime we go to the claim.
Now here is the eeerry part.
The other nice dowser that answered me Okiedowser, nailed the spot Dead ON!!! 2 people not even in my country, 2 bulls eyes.
Amazing, thank you.

If that road has been around for a lot of years someone many have filled the bad spots with gold bearing dirt

Okiedowser this is the spot that you hit on, the one that I had a feeling about. When I looked at it on Google Earth my thoughts were that the massive land island that the road goes around came from up top. It simply fell off the mountain. Because there is lots of quartz and granite in the area, it was a matter of the quartz veins running through the mountain could not hold the shear mass and weight of the land island, and gave away.
Do you think that the vein of gold that you indicated might not have been strong enough to hold the now land island?? Not a quartz fracture from above, but a soft base below?
Thanks again for your input.

Okiedowser this is our first claim and I've never seen raw gold before, so your a close second to me about knowing nothing about gold mining. But I think there's a little bit of a dowser in me.
You see, I told my brother that there is "something" at the top of that land island. It might not even be gold, but whenever the mass gave way, it sucked something out of mother nature. So I have to go look, I don't know if we'll find it (whatever it is) , but I have to look.
In the pictures, it's up and to the right, the greener part of forest.
You people and this forum are AWESOME!
