Breathtaking!! Next time you want to lose it for a year, I'll make a space on my shelf.

Beautiful species. Would absolutely be extremely agitated if went missing. Thanx much for righteous pic of exotic specimen-John

From near your old stomping grounds in MC

Excellent specimen Oak! If that had gone missing on me I'd have been tearing up everything to find it!

I'm not sure a price could be put on that...beautiful specimen

Awesome specimen!

Reminds me of the gold veined quartz crystal lump I found on Lake Superior as a child. It was made into a 3-3 1/2" gazing ball after I sold it. Wish I'd kept it!

Amazing piece Oak!

Theres probly a very reasonable common sense explaination for this BEAUTIFULL GOLD SPECIMEN missing from the show....................BUT I sure cant think of one! that would have NEVER left my sight for 1 min........................Glad it was found!

It was packed in a different box than what it arrived in, so as to protect it, fragile. All the boxes were supposedely checked, apparently one was not :-)

I still can't believe you went a full year without tearing up the whole gosh darn countryside looking for that thing!!

Our partner had the boxes and swore he had checked everything :-)

Humans are fallible, it has been found, lessons have been learned and that lovely specimen is back to be looked at and enjoyed. Glad to see it and thank you for sharing!.....................63bkpkr

Herb, are you back in California?

Well .......... at least it was not hijacked and gone for good . :icon_thumright:
