You can catch the gold and then afterwards divert the water away from your foundation. Win-Win

It caught gold, regarding the sides I thought of that. I bought around a 1/4" dowell and glued one side in. The damn thing works! ₩
 

I now need to get a classifier, the stones are getting in the way. What can I say, I find a creek and shovel creek gravel/sand into a grocery plastic bag and bring it home. I see now that classifying it before slushing it would give possible better results, but ****! The damn thing works!
 

There is a guy on you tube that shows how to make one. He puts two together end to end makes a longer sluice area. Seems to work
 

I thought about that also. I will have to see if I can find that video, thanks.
 

Thanks for the video link. I like that set up. I have already thought about grtting another one and setting it up that way. I am also thinking abiut getting a screen for where I would pout in my material to clear some of the large stones out. I found gold with mine so I am happy.
