Hey you all, we hope your doing good and enjoying this beautiful weekend! Yesterday was beautiful, it started cool and overcast,
finds were slow for awhile, Chug found a coin here and there, nada for me, until I hit an epic pocket spill, 8 quarters pocket spill, I don't know about you all, but we love pocket spills. My dry streak is broken! I also made a new friend, when your at the river, you expect to find all kinds of things, but.....what are the chances you'll find a dressed up pet rock?
I kid you knot!
I also had one other pocket spill, not as much, but at the end of the day, I had $3.26 by the time we were done, and an appreciation for the sun and sand! There's nothing better than having the chance to detect miles of beach of sand and water, the birds singing and darting about, the waves on the shore, it's truly heaven!Last night Chug went online and researched Portland parks, we always hunt Vancouver, camas and around there, the park we found.......... was the bomb! Oh my goodness, the possibilities are endless!!!! Miles of sand, surf and logs, as far as the eye can see! We didn't even make a dent, yay for us!
I found the cutest little dog food bowl, it will be great place to keep my beads!
I ran across this young lady catching a few rays, I guess someone forgot to tell her we weren't at a nude beach.
Then I found a piece of wood, big deal, right? Well, I can't make these things up,
See what I mean? Rocky Raccoon! We ran into some fishermen who were really nice and helpful, we found out a long time ago that if you want to find out where people hang out, talk to the fishermen, and we found friendly ones today! They told us where people hang out, who uses the area, and if the sand was busy, we heard nothing but good stuff! One signal was faint, and iffy, so, new park, dig everything right!
