This weekend's cent & nickel boxes
I actually bought 2 cent and 2 nickel boxes for the weekend but I've only finished one of each so far so I thought I would go ahead and post my results. The nickel box was ok - I found a silver '43P in the third roll so I was hoping to find more but that was the only silver for the whole box. The cent box was really good - for me anyway. I found a total of 28 wheat's including many pre - '40's.
cent box:
28 wheat's: '18*, '19, '19D, '20, '23, '27, '28, '37, '42, '44 x 5, '44S, '45, '45S, '46, '47D, '52D x 2, '52S, '55 x 2, '56D, '57, '58D* x 2
*the '18 is my oldest CRHing cent and one of the '58D's is bright red and probably grades AU
4 bright red AU early memorials: '60, '60D, '62D, 64D
7 S mint copper memorials: '68S, '70S, '71S, '73S (bright red), '74S x 3 (1 red)
8 pre - '97 copper Canadians including 1 George VI ('47)
nickel box:
1 silver ('43P)
32 (non - silver) pre - 1960 including a '38, '39, '40s*, and a '41s*
*both small s mint marks
1 x 2009P
