Hit three thrift stores today. The tie is from Goodwill with a half price. Got it for a dollar, should fetch about $15 from what I see on Ebay. The rutilated quartz with amber pendant was $5 (estimated at $35), same for the small old pawn Native american ring (estimate $15)and the dangle earrings (estimate $10).
All the Siam earrings, cufflinks, MOP with red coral necklace, hematite necklace (for my wife's collection), a heart shaped pewter pin (daughter snagged it), a discontinued Brighton necklace I set aside for my daughter's birthday, and 950 money clip were $1 each. Also got 4 sterling coasters for $1.99 each.

In all a very good day.

Is there a brand tag on the backside of the tie?

I wish I could find jewelry worth buying down here at the thrift stores. Key words "worth buying".

I'll try to get that to you Baja. Dig, best of luck to ya. Just started looking at ties due to what you guys have passed on at this site. TNet rocks. The small animal shelter thrift store we have locally has been good to me on silver. Find it there pretty regularly.

The name on the tie is Placenza

Great collection of buys

I thought Florida was a hot spot for thrift store treasure.

Yeah, I get depressed hearing about all the good buys you guys have. Wish my stuff was under spot value but hey, I know what I flip it for at the flea market. Hope everyone had a wonderful and filling turkey day.

Not up here either dig. Once in a blue moon I might spot some gold, usually in the form of charms or small pendants.

We only have two thrift stores here that are worth buying jewelry at. One they have so much jewelry I think they miss some.

The other store, they change management so often they can't keep up with what's going on there.
