Here is this weeks notable finds

Left : Front to an old stove?

Top left : Horse shoe, This thing is a monster. I don't know much about horses but it measures 6½" L-R and 7" T-B

Top right : Half of an old horseshoe or an ox shoe?

Bottom Left : Letter G. I'm thinking this is newer as it has countersunk holes for screws

Bottom Middle : Cobbler form

Bottom Right : 2 ox shoes

Here is a larger photo of what I believe is the front to an old stove. It looks like it was pretty ornate.

Did you re-check your hole? The rest of the stove might still be there.......LOL

I did, I thought my speaker was going to blow when I hit this sucker. It was only about 3 inches down. It wasn't the treasure chest I was hoping for. LOL

Neither was the 2'X2' piece of sheet metal I found at the beach! Lol!

But when it went off, I bet it sounded damn good. Sheet metal and nails have become my nemesis'. Smaller sheet metal comes up as a banging hit on both my detectors. Small nails suck because they sound too good to pass, but leave me frustrated.

Liking that cobblers form. Looks like a good old site. Keep pulling those relics.

I would have been able to cross off two items on my bucket list with those finds...

The brush is getting thick in there. I might have to wait until late fall or early winter to really get at it.

I was able to take two off my list with the horseshoe and ox shoe.

Cool stove hatch! I found one, a little different than this in the mud along a creek a few years ago...if ONLY i could find it again. It's MIA in my mom's garage somewhere. It was neat though, ornate and had three circular domed vents. :( Wish I could find it.
