This Week's Four Boxes = 2 Keepers

Folks,
This is the second week of boxes with low numbers of keepers, but with a large number of 1998-P coins in near perfect condition. I'd rather have the old bear up Ben's and Walker's!

Worked four boxes, came out with a single 1966 from the third box. That box also produced a Medio Peso from the Dominican Republic. It had silver edge, but the reeds were too close and fine in line. So I knew it wasn't a US coin. The last one I got like that was a 1918 Indian Rupee. This time no such luck. The date was 1987, so I suspect it is junk metal. Boxes 1, 2, and 4 were skunks.

Looking for better luck next week.

better than my 2 boxes... the Dominican Republic coin is not silver and isn't worth much, if it is worth anything at all...

Maybe a silver vein in your next boxes!

I have been going through about 25 boxes of halves a week since Christmas and never saw a foreign coin. There was always some silver until about 3 weeks ago. Then skunks with about 3 to 4 foreign coins.

Silver will be flowing again for you soon! Those dry spells really get to us . . . but just when you think it is all over, bingo! and there is the silver!
