This week's haul (8/8)

I got to my four banks this week and picked up $512 in CWR of dimes, nickels, and pennies. I managed to find a '46 and a '59D in the dimes. The nickels had two '43P's. And the pennies made up for last week with 39 wheats, a dime, a British penny, and two Canadian King George V cents; a '29 and a '35.

Very nice for such a small amount of face value. What was the breakdown, roughly? Were there mostly cent rolls? mostly nickel rolls? 30 rolls of each denomination?
Thanks for sharing your finds with us! :)

Those Canadian cents are awesome! Great finds. Nice silver too.

Ditto what he said. Exactly what I was thinking. I've found a ton of Canadian cents over the years but never one of the older type.

I've been CRH'ing for over 14 years and even though I live less than 90 minutes from Canada, I have only found about 15-20 Canadian King George V cents. And since Canada stopped minting and distributing cents a few year ago, I'm a little surprised they showed up at all. They must have been stuck in circulation in the US.

About $340 in dimes, a little over $100 in nickels, and the balance was pennies ($60+).
