This week's haul (9/26)
Well, this week was kind of dismal with only $168.50 in CWR from four banks. The dimes and nickels were busts except for the 55 dimes packed into one roll (instant profit). The pennies produced twelve wheats, two dimes, and an '05S proof, my third proof cent ever.
Now I've been CRH hunting for fourteen years and I have searched millions of pennies. I have found thousands of wheats, hundreds of dimes, Canadian King George V & VI cents, and foreign coins each, and even seven plastic play money pennies, but to only find three proof cents out of all that. I find so many proof nickels and halves that I throw back duplicates unless I can use them to replace ones in my collection that are in poorer condition. I have even found six proof dimes(no silver) in the past five years and I only edge search dimes. I just find it a little odd that I don't find more proof cents searched pennies vastly outnumber the other denominations in terms of quantity. Just a thought.
