Found in a junk drawer at an estate sale. Before I took the top off of this piece I figured it was a medium sized lipstick tube. Mainly because both ends have a gold metal flake design. It's brass and measures 2 5/8" long by 7/8" in diameter. The surprise comes when you take off the cap and a multi-spiked end appears. They are steel (stick to a magnet). Kind of resembles one of those lead spiked flower frogs. No moving parts. Any ideas?

Yep, pool tip tool. Pokes little holes in the leather tip, that helps the chalk stay on for less chance of a miscue.

I need one, seems like I miscue all the time.
