✅ SOLVED Thought it was US but now I dont know

I thought this button was US at first until I looked at the backmark which reads Pitt & CO 31 Maddox St London, which in my short experience tells me its British. Couldnt find it in my books so here I am again. Can someone help me ID'ing this for me?

Wow good question... Although it has a London maker on it, the bird appears to be Polish or German. Good luck on it!
