Lorraine always seems to find so many really nice silver item items, I just couldn't help but think of her when I found this one. It was the only good find of the day and it came out black and nasty looking but I could tell right away it had potential if I could clean it off half as good as she does. I think it came out pretty good.
I spent about 4 hours cleaning out this fresh water beach and learning the CZ-21. Came away with a Walmart sized bag of beer and soda cans, chain, nails and other assorted trash and then started working the bottom where I cleaned out the big loud signals.... this one hit as a deeper signal but I could tell right away it was a good signal. Took two scoops to get so it was in the clay bottom pretty deep, glad I worked the bottom over as well as I did. This is the same beach/lake I worked over last November finding 11 rings and 4 gold items and knowing that, I now know it hadn't been searched in many years until I hit it last year. Two trips there so far this year and no gold, just two silver rings. I'm done there until they drain down the lake and I can get in deeper.
