Nice job on the Seated coin. Just a thought, and my opinion - Usually Love tokens were done in Old English or Script lettering and had a fancy edge. I think someone may have just stamped their own initials on that coin. That being said, it is your coin and you can think it is whatever you want it to be ! Congrats on your second 1800's coin, and I hope your third one is around the corner.
I'm guessing somebody's "lucky coin" with their initials on it. Possibly from their birth year.
We've seen those posted on T-net a time or two. Some more formal than others.
Someone posted a large cent (1827?) a few years ago with a name engraved on it. We researched it and found it belonged to an acquaintance of John Wilkes Booth.
My dad carried a silver dollar from his birth year (though NOT initialed). I still have it. Nearly worn slick from being in his pocket everyday for years.
