My Chinese railroad labor camp site is still giving up coins. These three make 49, 50, and 51. I honestly cant believe that they keep popping up. The smallest is an 1866 Hong Kong One Mil. The other two are Chia Ch'ing 1796-1820. Also in the photo are three of the Chinese buttons. My four year old son found the patterned button. Only the second one of those from the camp. Most are the more common round, spherical buttons. Also to my surprise was a ring that looks to be cut from a piece of bronze are copper tubing. It has been hammered all the way around to give it some character.
Also found this 100 Peso coin (1987) in town. I was kicking around with a couple of buddies in an old yard. I was quite surprised, plus it broke up 13 penny streak I had going. Its not worth much, but still cool to find.
Thanks for looking.
