After a hour of digging junk I hit my first half 1918 ,buffalo nickel and T-bucket. I still have a lot of yard left to do at my Friends 1800's home..........Mags

What size coil are you useing? Smaller is always better where there is junk.
But, being the area is old; you may do best digging every sound and working a grid.

Nice half Mags still looking for my first walking liberty half. Got a couple of franklins but no walkers. Keep at that lawn she'll turn up some more good finds for ya. Good luck.
