Got out to 3 sites all local to me for a full day of detecting. These aren't new site and have been well hunted but with this heat I just wasn't motivated to hunt for new sites. Lots of targets, including 10 civilian buttons at the first site. After running out of water I headed home to refuel and stopped at the Button Hole for a few more WWII militaries. Finished the day at a site I've been hunting for over 10 years. Gridded one area and found a few decent targets including an 1880 Indian Head, rare for north of the border, but finished with an even more rare American find...an early Artillery cuff button! This is a first for me and I am thrilled to add it to my collection!
