I wish every crappy rainy Saturday morning was so productive, thanks to the help of my friend Curt I was able to pull off a great trade.

The last pic shows today's finds pictured above their related 1/2 gallons already in my collection, as you can see there are differences with all 3, I'm still stoked...

very nice jugs

You have quite the collection, locally marked pieces certainly are irresistable.

They are really nice. I do not want to ask a dumb question however I am curious as to when that type of pottery was made .I worked at a pottery whose history dated back to the early 1800's .In my local area it is rare to find many pieces still intact . I can see why you collect it .It catches my eye also

Great finds Jim!

These cobalt script jugs typically date late 1890's to about 1913-14, after that ink stamped jugs came into being. I am posting another Paterson jug now that's from a different potter, most likely in Newark NJ, and dates to the 1880's...

That’s the first time I’ve seen a jug with the words “This Jug Not To Be Sold”. Very nice ones..

It is found on several of the Fulper jugs, but not too common, all up to the merchant who was oredering them...

Thanks for the history .They are very nice and the history of them makes it amazing that they are still in such great condition
