Went to a new school to enjoy the 70 degree weather in Denver before the big snowstorm hits tomorrow...I found 3 rings, two were on the edge of the grass near a sidewalk. One is a junk ring, the other a sterling silver ring with "True Love Waits" on it, and the third was a sterling Pandora princess ring! Found some fun doo dads as well. I now have a tumbler, so I am cleaning my rings...:laughing7:

Wow R&B ! You are rapidly building quite a ring collection.. Nicely done !

Congratulations on the nice rings. What are you using as a tumbling medium? I use crushed walnut shells impregnated with red rouge. It has done a nice job for me. Keep swingin.

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Uhmmm, hate to quibble but I see FOUR rings. One being the key ring at the top of the photo. Good digs for certain. Congratulations. I have yet to find more than one ring per outting.

Haha! You are RIGHT! Thanks for the positive comment!

Nice job on the rings R&B. I like that Guardian Angel visor clip also. I remember we gave one of those to each of our kids when they started driving.

I don't think I would tumble any rings with stones in them. Real crusty silver rings I find get the vinegar soak treatment. Minor tarnished ones go into the Jeweluster/Ezest dip for a few seconds. Repeat as necessary.

Congratulations on a super haul, R&B! May those mile-high schools continue to bless you with precious metals! Sub 8-)

I have a Guardian Angel visor clip just like that on my truck right now. I used to travel so much for work, the kids got me one. I haven't had an accident since then :)

Also, I would be extremely hesitant about tumbling a ring w/stones. Ultrasonic cleaner might be a better option.

TNT, I am probably using the wrong thing. My tumbler came with very tiny metal balls, similar to ball bearings. I used those. I am intrigued by the medium you are using!

Yep, Blak Bart! They just seem to come to me...The ground is frozen now. We are getting down to 1 degree tonight, with more snow on the way Friday...:sadsmiley:

Deepseeker, I had never seen one of those Guardian Angels before. It rang up funny, too. A solid 71 on the ACE 400, I am glad I dug it. Thanks for the heads up on the ultra sonic cleaner. I won't tumble my good rings again..(just the junk ones, lol).

Thanks, Sub! Gonna be a while before I can get back out...we are going to be VERY cold the next week or so. Tonight's high is 1 degree...But LOOKOUT when it warms up!!

Thanks for the feedback, Cudamark. I will heed your advice!
