I got out today, what a beautiful spring day. Here are my finds from a couple hour hunt, as you can see on my way out to the old site I came across a couple pictures to take, the colt and mother did cooperate some what, the old wind mill is another indication there may have been a house there at one time, I guess I will check it out some time. The 1850 one penny token was a nice find, the coin was on its edge so all I had to do was pull it out of the dirt. The old bricks are every where in this old site, The other coins were a welcome find, the 1850 token I gave to the land owner, he was happy to have the token. The land owner did mention that there many families used to live in the community before the rail road missed the old settlement in the 1860 s time frame, lots to find hopefully. HH ​

What beautiful scenery, and a very nice 1850 token. I'll bet the land owner was very happy with that.
