Thrift Store find

Picked up a Hobo Nickel at a local thrift store. I asked the Gal what is was, she thought maybe some one had pressed the coin with the image. I asked her how much she wanted for it, she said make an offer. I offered $10.00 and she accepted. I really don't anything about these, other than what they are.I have owned a lot of tokens and coins, but never went after these.
Can any one help ID it as to authenticity, maker, value etc.

That is a nice elaborate one. Most people consider them works of art due to all the work it takes to carve one. Not sure of value and maker. On Ebay, carving similar to yours sell for $20 or so, if it is a verified well known maker than it can be in the triple digit values.
