Thursday's Halves and Dimes Plus More Free Cash and silver at the dump!

Got 4 boxes of halves, 4 boxes of dimes and did some dumping...

Updated to add 2 more skunk dime boxes

Halves:
Box1: - 1x 90% & 3x 40%
Box2: - 2x 90% & 1x 40%
Box3: - 4x 40%
Box4: - 2x 90% & 4x 40%

Totals: 5x 90% & 12x 40%
3 of the 90s were Walkers, 1 Franklin and 1 '64 JFK

Dimes:
Box1: - SKUNK
Box2: - SKUNK
Box3: - SKUNK
Box4: - SKUNK


After dumping I noticed some silver in the tellers tray, got 4 40s from him. First TD that I've ever gotten a silver half from that didn't come from the coin machine.

Next TD is the one where I usually get a bunch of change from the reject tube and today was no different. In addition to 1 silver quarter I got about $7 in other non silver change.

Other than the boxes of dimes I'd say it was a pretty good day. I expected the last 2 boxes of dimes to stand a better chance of some silver since they are the boxes I'm used to getting. The first 2 skunks looked like String boxes but had no stamp, the green print on the outside of the box was much darker and the rolls were green and brown (instead of green and white) and only said $5 Dimes, no name or anything.

How I would love to have your luck at the dump bank!!! Congrats! My only finds in the reject slot consist of a stray foreign coin(usually eurocent or something small like that) or buttons and strange little tokens. You got silver in addition to some free cash.

I would be careful dumping there, since the person(s) before you were shorted, make sure you do not get shorted and hobo joe dumping his pennies doesn't find your dumps :P (just kidding on the hobo part, but i would be careful and count before I dump there to assure the accuracy)

For some reason the Penny at this particular branch just doesn't always you that the bag is full, it just rejects the coins and they seem to get stuck in the tube (never make it to they tray outside). I've found it to be accurate counting and since they always have to open the machine for me, I won't be losing anything in the reject tube.

It's funny I went to dump there last Thursday and they told me that the Penny Arcade was down and needed to be repaired. I instantly thought... awww crap - there goes my free money. Well glad to see whatever they fixed didn't fix that part!
