Time to button this hunt up after 3 hours.

Only found the 2 buttons yesterday after a 3 hour hunt in the field. The one, is a very nice flat button with the shank still intact. The other is a 2 hole button. This was my fourth outing at the field in 4 years, and the farmers are "no till" so its getting very thin on the finds. The flat button is shown mixed in with the corn stalk roots after the stalk was dug. Still managed to find a little something, but I'm probably only an outing away from crossing this one off the list.

Nice finds! We also have a site that is playing out. I'm sure they will always produce a few keepers but you hate to see it slow down.
