Here's a shirt I made, gonna start wearing it when I'm water hunting, maybe keep some of the brats away
I don't think it would work down here. Last Monday I had a kid ask "what is that?" (pointing at the detector) I told him "it's a metal detector". His response "you look for glass?" METAL DETECTOR!!! :icon_scratch: The kid was about 8 years old.

needs bigger letters, that way they can read them from afar

It's an on the job training kinda thing... :blob8:

You might be on to something here. I think that most kids will have no idea what ordinance is and the parents will know its BS.

How about an orange jump suit that says "State Prison" Maybe the PARENTS will mind their kids for once! :)

I once had a kid ask what it was, I also said metal detector. Then he asked if I was looking dinosaur bones... this looked like a 10 year old :icon_scratch:

Maybe it should also be in the safety orange color with a badge LOL

Nice shirt.....

When I have kids ask me what I am doing I tell them I am looking for drowned kid and if they bump into them to call me....... :o They leave me alone after that.......... I usually only say this after about the tenth time I am asked though.

I guess I'm just used to kids asking "are you looking for treasure?"
The glass question just boggled my mind.

I tell them I'm testing a new shark repellant coil and if they see any to let me know.

I guess all those years I thought that snorkeling instead of standing up in the water blocked out the surf noise and allowed me to hear signals better it was the kids questions I was avoiding.

thats a good one I always liked this
