Way to go on the half dime! They do not come up very often. I'm curious as to what your meter reading was on the half dime? Last one I found was a zinc penny reading.

Congrats on the sharp little half dime!

That's a sweet silver, congrats

whoa, that is one awesome half dime.

That...is one drop-dead gorgeous seated!!! Well done. 🙌

Thanks for all the replies! Im still on cloud 9 :) I was swingin the equinox 600 in field2 and it rang up 17-19 on the left swing and 22-23 on the right swing(which would fall in the crappy cent range)....every few right swings it would read 26-27 with a high chirp. I dug a few bottlecaps that rang up at 19 and thought thats what it was at first but that chirp made me dig it. Glad I did! Once I saw it I thought it was silver dime. When I picked it up and put some water on it I got all giddy :)

Beautiful detail with a perfect patina! Well done pal. They get no better than that

Man, that thing’s in exquisite shape, great find!

I got it on video if you want to see. I know some folks wont watch vids of finds so i just post pics usually but i'll put it here anyway....
