today at the invisible schoolhouse (update)

A trip back to the '40's. This one room has not existed scince the late sixties, and a newer home was built. I could barely identify two indian cents.
The two silver coins were in the same hole. "Where's the barbers?"

Well, I cleaned up the 2 unknown coppers, one turned out to be a wheat, the other was an Indian, 1864. My oldest coin, cleaned up nice, edges are worn smooth, but the rest good detail. I don't know if it's the brass or composition type, and can't identify an "L".

Might be key dates on them and worth hundreds! I hope thats the case bud! Did ya get these with the DFX or Brand X, I am guessing that Brand X is the ol minelab! Its all just a matter of time Duane. Keep putting yourself in places where there was activity for the dates of coins your after and the pretty ones will start poppin for ya. Just makes it all that much more enjoyable when ya finally get one after waiting. Its all good. Fall is the best time to detect. Cool weather, easy diggin. Fun stuff. Jim
