Don't feel bad or have regrets 10 is not a lot I think you made a smart choice it was worth the chance this is what we treasure hunters do..Ive bought three sets of batteries and found one silver ring and all clad no silver coins that wasn't wasted money cause I take the chance that Ill find something good...if I don't I don't but I tried and its worth every cent!!!

There must be a load of these heavy stamped fakes out there! It has large flat links, its non-magnetic, and heavy. The edge of the links have the lest plating and will show a slight copper tinge at the right angle.

My son bought one for $10, knowing it was fake. I couldn't resist testing it just to satisfy my TH'ing side. It was indeed a fake. The son had good instincs.
He just got it cause it looked cool and its no big deal if he lost it.
