Today the Banks were nice!

Went to my local bank and asked about bringing them halves, they said fine as long as i bring in increments of 1k at a time so they can bag em and send them back, I asked if 10k a week was too much an she said that was fine. SCORE!!!
They also asked me to take bagged pennies dimes and nickles, set up a pick up for the weekend to get me thru the no banking day. Also was asked the dreaded S word question. Are you just looking for silver?? Well not just... I look for proofs and certain years and mint marks especially the NIFC coins. She doesnt know about proofs or NIFC and asked i bring some in tomorrow

Went to another buy bank i get halves from an she was kinda sketchy her eyes were buggin an she whispered to me, "You arent going to bring all these coins back to me are you??" To which I told her I will never bring a coin back that I buy from here. She breathes a huge sigh of relief. To which I asked can I get 8 boxes next week?? Sure. SCORE!!!

Oh yea the sorting for today was 2 boxes of halves, I should have smelled them before I opened em, No keepers but the unusual find was a gold president dollar coin in a full roll of halves, it was in some sort of plastic. so + 1.00

Xiao - I got a roll of gold dollars in a Brinks box one time as well....i was like hmm ok thanks for the $15, its like a free 90% sorta :-)
