Today was a good day. I was up late last night reading a 333 page archeological report on a site that I have been hunting for a while now. This one site has had every thing from paleo to protocontact stuff found on it. I got four hours of sleep, and hit the road. At first things went slow. I found this group of artifacts. It does include a broken triangle point that is paper thin, a first for me.
I also found this strange blade. Look at where and how it would have been hafted.
After lunch things got better.
I also found a glass marble, that isn't perfectly round. It's not a trade piece, I wouldn't think.
I also found a piece of glass that appears to have been worked into a scraper.
It could just be a broken piece of glass. I hope Gator will chime in on this one. My last post worthy finds are this milling stone and possibly it's mate. They sat side by side. Seems unlikely, but possible.
Thanks for the view, and let me know what you think about any of the odd finds. I'm certain of one thing, and that is my uncertainty. Let's hear some thoughts!
