Today's 5 Half Dollar Boxes 9/20/2011

Decided to increase my volume this week to 5 boxes instead of the usual 3. Last week one box contained 14 40% and 1 90%, so I was hoping to score again!

Box 1 = 1x 1968 40%
Box 2 = 1x 1967 40%, 2x 1968 40%, 1x 1969 40%, 1 1776-1976 S Proof
Box 3 = SKUNK
Box 4 = 1987P...Buddy needed this last coin to finish an album
Box 5 = SKUNK

My question...is the Bicentennial S Proof a 40%, 80% or 90%? The only way I found it was the silver rim...I typically barely check the Bicentennial ones, unless they are shiny etc.

Its either clad or 40% silver, as they made both. If it looks silver and sounds silver, its likely a 40%er.

gotta check the rims..

if they're silver in color - it's a 40%

if they're coppery - it's clad
