Hi all,

Last time I posted I was throwing up in the woods with heat frustration. Well, lesson learned I waited for this cooler weather. 8) Went out today for about 4 hours and did find find some decent finds.
I found a Sabot from a type 2 high band 10 lb Parrot. At first I thought it was trash but was so happy to see what it really was. Also dug a bunch of shrapnel and some mini's. Also found what looks to be a gunpowder flask from an old musket. Glad to see the weather is changing and hope to post some good relic digs in the near future. Thanks for looking.

Glad you took a second look at the sabot Ronin...Nice find.If you're like me i know the wood's are going to get torn up soon.Tis the season.Good Luck.....Schrapnel is alway's good,Piece of history in my book....love it Man!!!!look's good to me....HH!!

Do you mean the small ring above the Sabot? Its a Brass piece.
