Today's creek finds
Hit a small creek where I found a stone bowl last summer.
Found this wicked Louisiana lookin' little point on the first gravel bar, and went up about 20 feet, and saw what I thought was a copper elbow for plumbing. Pulled it off the bank and just shook my head. These little trade pipes are ugly IMO, but it is definitely a cool feeling to find one coming out of a mud wall. I was picking up a few hammerstones and nut stones, when I find something I have never found before (never found a pipe either), it was a red banded slate 1/2 bannerstone. How confusing is it to find all of this with 40 of each other in a small creek.................very. Gonna wait till a nice rain comes, and pray the other half shows up. This and the adena in one week. And people think there's only poop and snakes in creeks. Sh-yeah right!!
