Todays CW relic hunt...primo carved bullet

Greg and I hunted for 7 hours today at our local hard hit CW site. It was miserably hot but we hunted hard and it begrudgingly gave up some lead. I got 5 bullets of a nice mix, and poor Greg found only one lone bullet. But what a bullet it was...the best carved minie I have ever seen pulled from this site. Looks to be a chess pawn. Awesome find Greg!

You deserve great finds for doing SEVEN HOURS in the heat and misery!
The man who carved on that bullet wanted you to find it. Finds like that make you wonder what those guys went through.

Bill, you both had a good hunt despite the heat. This heat will definitely show who the hard core coin and relic hunters (or idiots-LOL) are. That's an outstanding carved bullet. You can hunt for years and not find a piece of soldier's art like that one. Stay cool and save a few of those bullets for us-LOL, Quindy.
