Flat buttons- Ive been digging cuff flat buttons at about 8" through solid red clay with the dfx and the 10*12 sef
hand made copper ring maybe slave ring

Nice digs that 1847 LC is in good shape ,do you use mixed mode on your DFX i been trying that for a week i find i can get much deeper with my 10x12 SEF ? silver and copper 6 to 8 inches. Good Hunt Dd60

WTG on digging the good stuff. I dug an old copper ring last year. No idea on how to date them but the spot I was digging at was 1860's Nice finds

Alot of the sites I hunt are trashy and full of Iron it doesnt take long to turn off the mixed mode when it never shuts up
