Good hunt. In that shelter what is the debri I am seeing on the bank where its been excavated?

These were some field finds i found not far from this cave...would like some help on the big piece if anyone can help that would be great....not sure if it is anything but you can tell it has been work on all side except the side that is broken. there was nothing around the cave but a mountain dew bottle. which is by a fire pit but the wood doesnt look old at all. i will be doing some excavating the next though...this was the first time i found this so....
