I went and did a stretch of woods today and managed 6 teens and twenties wheat pennies, a 1920 Buffalo, a dateless V Nickel and some kind of Boy Scout pin. Not too bad.

Coinstriking Michigan,
you got out in the woods today; ticks active in your area yet?

V Nickel, wheats, and a buffalo good day. Those boy scouts
were all over in the old days. Always could tell when I was in
an area that boy scouts used, they lost all sorts of things. :icon_scratch:

Glad to see you got out. Thanks for posting.

Haven't seen any ticks yet. I was pleasantly surprised to get the V and the Buffalo. Another guy who detects in our area tipped me off about that spot. I know there must be silver around too.

If I can bring home some wheat pennies and Buffalo nickel I would say it was a good day and a metal to boot, Congrats and good hunting.

Thanks:thumbsup:

Sweet finds. I have YET to dig a readable Buffalo. I have dug eleven of them, and not one with a readable date.

Looks like a good day to me. :icon_thumleft: Congrats CS on a nice hunt.
