Todays Finds

Some of my halves came in for this week (2k) and a day before my other 4k coming tomorrow. Looked through them all but 1 box were pretty lack luster, 3rd box i looked at i found 14 -40%, 1973S Proof, 1987S Proof, 1996S Proof, and a 2008S Silver Proof (to what degree of silver it is i don't know, looks 90%). Here are a few quick pictures, sorry if some got a little fuzzy. Any values to the Proofs would be appreciated =)

Should have taken a close up pic also, the 2008s Proof on the reverse the initials say FC not FG, some minor something i assume probably nothing to effect any value.

I take most all of my pics with the flash off, it seems to work better, at least with my camera, and set it to pc in image size. HH, Maverick.

Nice shots! I always have trouble getting closeups, particularly of proofs.

If you are using a camera not cell phone, there should be a MACRO button, sometimes looks like a flower, turn it on and turn off flash. Macro setting helps you get close up pictures without as much fuzziness.

So finished off the other 4k of halves i got today. all skunks except one box which produced 22-40% halves, a 2008S Proof (the non silver brother to the one yesterday), and a half dollar i'm not sure about, need to look into it further, says it is a 1991D half dollar(1st time seeing one like this), will post pictures. I will take 36-40%, 1 90% proof and other stuff any week, happy camper this week =)

The 1991-D is a Mount Rushmore commemorative, I bought one a while ago in the original mint packaging. A mintage of under 200,000, but only $18 in MS-67.
