Skunk Box Streak Ends at 10

This week's Loomis box of halves contained 14 silver Kennedys

4 1968​

Despite the current lack of interest by coin dealers in 40% silver halves, it's only a matter of time before they will again be looking to buy them.

Silver is silver and there are more than two ounces in total with those 14 coins.

Tomorrow is the Loomis drop at my CU. 12 box skunk streak for silver. Couple of 1974D FS-101’s. Nicks and Quarters fave been more productive for silver the past few months.

My last decent silver box was November with 10 40%. It comes in spurts.

Well, my three box hunt proved a tiny bit better than your single box. Near 50 NIFC, mostly 2020. 8 40%. 2 64. 2 Franklin. 1 1973D FS-101. 2 1974D FS 101. 4 Proofs. Vault Manager forgot to order, so the delivery was a few days late.

Much better than normal. Nicks were ok. Week before last was a 1906 Liberty Nickel. Week before a 1950D (2 in three years).
