As I look at Tnet 15mins before I journey to new land. I wonder to myself & now to you...... What will we find?

Will it be a hammered, will it be 2. (probably none)
Roman Silver? (0)
Scrappies? (5)
Medieval Buckles? (2)
New types of button? (3)

Any guesses?

Anyone that thought 1 medieval buckle is the winner.

We spent over 4 hours trying different fields without success. Even though there are 3 churches close to the land. Condition were terrible, the clay is grey & very heavy (impossible to plough with ancient methods). No pottery, lead pieces or iron patches.

However some fields the stubble was too high to bother. We will keep trying another time but for now we headed back to our 2nd Fav field to save the day. See next post.
