Todays Fort Antient finds

Got out today with Dorkfish, & done some scraping around at our favorite site. I came away with 3 bone beads,2 pretty nice points.a splinter bone awl & what looks like a antler flaker. Several broken points & some neat pottery pieces. I also found a cresent shaped piece of shell. it is polished al around. Not sure what it is Could be some kind of lucky charm. Dorkfish found some good pieces also. I am sure that they will pop up here soon. Thanks for looking.

Well, I would not say I smoked him.I found a few more pieces that he did today, but I have many years to go before I can top him. He is working on his house right now, & I am sure his wife is watching his every move.

what an amazing site! congradulations. here is a shell piece i walked up that looks alot like yours in shape. i think it could be some sort of weaving tool, or it could be a nose adornment. in all of my years of hunting, i hace never found anything like this, looks like a boomerang, heavily ground all over.
