Buzzard King, thanks for the good reply, photos etc. There are at least a dozen old train station sites here in Potter County that we have on our list for this summer. Your post is lavish with encouragement for other detectors. Keep up the good detecting and posting ...potter poker

Wow ,great score and love the old photo.Maybee the coins fell under the tracks where people couldn`t see them or extract them.I would do the car size area using pin point mode and dig the deeper signals.Or maybee try to follow the old tracks paths.

That is a great hunt for sure. I am curious if you know anything about the history of the spot. Was it just a random wooded spot or do you know about any activity that went on there?

No site is completely worked out. I would keep hitting that site over and over again - one merc a trip would keep me coming back! WTG!
