Thank you Thurm, did I mess up my count I'm adding them up and getting 396 in halves Hmmm It's possible I didn't add a couple in, I'm not sure now. LOL

I just picked up $100.00 in halves to search and I can see a few silvers thru the bag. I'm getting excited already,will report back later today.

I would like to try a box of dimes one day but they are just not too eye friendly for me....I would have to get a magnifying glass....lol. Pennies are the same way for me.

Thank you everyone, 400 is amazing especially since there are a lot of coin roll hunters around here. I'm looking forward to reaching the 500 mark hopefully in another month or two.

LJ, you would do fine searching the pennies and dimes. I wear eyeglasses most of the time,but when I search coins lately I've been taking them off and I can still make out the dates well. You can spot the silver dimes very easily. Pennies,wheaties and Canadian are also very easy to spot. The only thing you would have a difficult time with is looking for errors,that really puts a strain on your eyes after a while.

I've noticed that since I've been searching more coins lately that the smell of the metal was making my stomach a little upset and bothering my nose as well. Sounds funny, I know. So I started wearing a mask and the problem is solved. I look like I'm ready to perform surgery. LOL

Immy, the membranes of the nasal passage or vestibule as the doctor told me were getting irritated. I've been putting a little Vasoline on the edge of my nose and then wearing the mask. This has really helped a lot. These are the masks I bought at Wal-Mart in the health/medical supply area. Don't buy the ones in the paint dept,they they are a couple dollars less but have an odor to them that is overwhelming. These have been the best ones I've found so far. I also use them when I sweep out the garage. I have allergies already so, this is the best way to go.
