All Treasure Hunting
Before Going Hunting Today,
WhitesPa & I decided to take a walk
up a mountan side to where a Church stood in 1875.
Although we didn't find any sign of it
I Think we at least Found the General area.
Must have been Wooden with No Foundation.

On the way out we Spyed this

After Hammering & Pulling & Chipping away we Got it out

It's Obvious Somone Hammered it into the Branch

We Then went to the Park we've been Hitting.

Considering We Find one or 2 of these every Time
we are there. I'd say somones Huffing spot in the 60's, 70's ?

what a strange thing to do with a digging tool :icon_scratch: and they had a hammer too :icon_scratch:

I have been frustrated enough to want to hammer my detector a time or two but never my digger. :wink:

Cool finds,jeff.They must have been trying to split that timber.Is that another small branch protruding through it just to the left of the digger?

ok,, i forgot who it was... didn't someone on T-Net thorw their machine up into a tree??? Maybe... that is his digging tool? ;-)

Yea 62 or so today Beautuful weather.

There are Not any signs.

The woods are Listed as NO OWNER on the tax Map
same as the Streets & Roads.

In fact They were streets 100 or so years ago

There was one Broken Cinderblock nearby
We used it to Free the digger from the Branch.

I sort of Wonder if that is what he used to hammer it in

I think I can relate to that. It was probably a former White's owner that had just switched to a Minelab... :tongue3:

Yea My Blade is still Laying over in the Park Somewhere.
Probably Covered by Leaves if Nobody Found it. :(
