Today's meager finds
Well, today Terry (Icandigit) and I decided to go out to an old farmstead that is long gone, and is now a corn field. We hunted it a little back in January, but the ground was just too hard to dig. Today, it was windy, but the ground was very soft and we searched the area where the house had been. After a couple of hours with no finds, we decided to go to a nearby town and hunt the old park there. We each found a little clad, but coin wise, he did much better than I did. He found a couple of Indian head pennys (1881 and 1890), that were in just excellent shape. The lucky dog.
My one good find of the day was a very nice 4.6 gram man's religious ring. So, we each came home with a few goodies. Hope each of you had a good day too.
