Today dawned bright and sunny, so detecting was on! We went back to the same field as last time, as himself needed to take delivery of his new headphones (the previous ones didn’t fit 😂) and this field is about 5 mins from his house!

A musket ball, lead weight, lots of buttons, a buckle, 2 rings, and a couple of bits that need an I’d… no idea on the long tapered one either….. the one with the hook, has a really sharp point on it, and more coins 1905 penny, 1917 penny, 1929 half penny, 1941 three pence and a 1945 penny, and lead! xx

Well done on todays digs
Great looking clothing fastener (Early post medieval shield type?)
Looks like you had lots of targets to dig once again.
Really loving the stonewall pathway, it just has that load of history look to it.

Congratulations on your cool finds, Blossom! That ground has not been kind to the coins there. Thanks for sharing.

Pretty much right, it's a Tudor Clothes Fastener. Not used on the front but pinned back a triangular of material to the back of the women's clothes.
The other bit is a late medieval belt slide.

Great Finds!
You caught my interest with the flanged long cone. I have found them here on Cape Cod. I still do not know what their purpose was. These are rather small. I have the cone end as well somewhere in my pile of stuff. These have the same ring lines.
