Todays River Hunt...7/15/12

It was a hot one here & dead calm for winds.After taking a stab & swinging the detector for awhile at a couple sites.The heat & sweat was enough. So I decided to do a little arrowhead hunting.At least the wading in the water was a little better.Anyway this is my finds.

I did find out after some looking this morning that the one coin is a WWII-UNITED STATES-PHILIPPINES 1 CENTAVO which makes a first & strange find for me.

Glad your getting out Pete .. getting some hunting in as well but the open field sites are brutal . :tongue1:

Definitely , No Fun , when it's this freakin' HOT 100 +++ so I'm going back into the shady places till the temps get cooler .. I like all the points and stay Kool

That oval shaped ring you found there. I must have a dozen of them things. Must be horse tack but I am not sure what they are.

I agree horse related for sure.Found a few myself,most of the time they turn up with other farm related items.If I had to guess from single trees or plow connects.....like below.
